Bake the pork chops for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature tests 145F (test with a meat thermometer ). ![]() Place the marinated pork chops in the baking pan. Then pour in the red wine, stir it into the sauce and let it bubble for about 1 minute. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray. After that, remove the roasting tin from the oven and place it over direct heat turned to medium. Now back it goes into the oven for about another 25 minutes, and you will need to baste it twice during this time. Cook them for 20-25 minutes, flipping them if desired. Rub the pork chops with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper before placing them in the preheated skillet. Then, when the 25 minutes are up, remove the roasting tin from the oven, pour off any surplus fat from the corner of the tin and pour the sauce all over, giving everything a good coating. Place your cast iron skillet in the oven while it preheats so that the skillet preheats as well. Meanwhile, combine all the sauce ingredients in a jug and, using a small whisk, blend everything, thoroughly. Then, when you're ready to cook the pork chops, pre-heat the oven to gas mark 6, 400☏ (200☌), then pop them in on a high shelf and cook for 25 minutes exactly. Then flip the chop over and put the skillet in the oven. Sear the meat on one side, about 3 minutes. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over high heat. Arrange a rack in the middle of the oven and pre heat to 400☏ (204☌). Pork is done when an internal thermometer reads 145 degrees F. Steps: Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and coat on all sides with dry rub. Step 4: Remove from the pan and set aside. Flip and sear the other side for another 3-5 minutes. Step 3: Sear for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Season the other side with the remaining salt and pepper.
